Tami (Madsen) Schorno, Owner
On February 1, 2023, Tami purchased MQ Gadgets Gifts Goodies (formerly known as The Picnic Pantry and Parlour) from former owner Traci Smith. Tami grew up in Stanwood schools through the seventh grade then moved North to Mount Vernon.
As a little girl, just up the hill from MQ Gadgets Gifts Goodies, Tami's first taste of customer service came while serving the neighbors and passerby's who visited her KoolAid stand. Since a young age, she always wanted to own her own business. She is so honored to have the pleasure of owning a business in Stanwood and coming back to her roots.
Prior to this new venture, Tami's career included management of veterinary facilities, as a paraprofessional in an accounting firm, and a few years in the high-tech industry as a manager and
human resources director. Tami has always had a passion for business and customer service.
In her spare time, Tami enjoys hiking, arts and crafts, and spending time with family, friends and her pets.
Debi (Madsen) Stuller
Tami's sister Debi, joined the team immediately. Debi graduated from Stanwood High School and worked at Twin City Foods for 18 years. Debi's career also covered several years in the banking industry and retail. Her artistic passion is noticeable when you walk in the door as she enjoys doing our window and store displays.
In Debi's spare time, she enjoys going to Seattle Seahawk's games, gardening and making stained glass pieces. She also enjoys spending time with family, friends and her rescue dog, Addie.
Tricia Vasquez
Shortly after Tami purchased MQ Gadgets Gifts Goodies, Tricia joined our team. We are so pleased to have Tricia working with us. She enjoys engaging with our customers and takes pride in our book section and making sure things are tidied and stocked.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also makes beautiful jewelry and has another position at a bookstore.
Lola Schorno, Mascot
Lola is a 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback and customer greeter. Although she spends most days at home supervising her cat siblings Oscar and Hank, she occasionally pops in and can be found behind the counter begging for treats. She enjoys meeting our customers. Come in and check out her pet corner!
